Full Install Only - Downloaded Setup Files

These following steps are for intended for installation files that are downloaded.

Do not follow these steps if you have a USB drive that was sent.

Date And Time Format

The computer date and time format needs to be changed to the US format for OneTint to operate correctly.

If the date on the bottom right hand corner of the screen is in this format Month/Date/Year you may skip this step.

Example 12/16/2025

If the computer does not display the same format as the example above, DO NOT skip this step.

System Languages

Below are instructions for computers that are set for French or English, use the one that matches your computer.

French Systems

1. Right click the Date / Time on the bottom right of the window.

2. Select Regler la date et l’heure.

3. Select Region.

4. In the Format regional section, select Anglais (Etat-Unis) from the drop-down list.

English Systems

1. Right click the Date / Time on the bottom right of the window.

2. Select Adjust date/time.

   

3. Select Date, time & regional formatting

4. In the Regional format section, English (United States)

Installation Steps

1. A tech will send a link through email, clicking the link in the email will open up a web browser to download the setup file.

   The file names may be different in the screen shots, but the steps are still the same.

2. After clicking the link, an agreement page will appear, you must click ACCEPT to continue

   

3. Once the agreement is accepted, click on DOWNLOAD on the right side.

   

4. Depending on which browser you are using, if you click the Down Arrow button, you can monitor the download.

   

   ATTENTION: Some web browsers may block the file download until you select to keep the file. If you’re having issues, look at the examples below. This is an example using Microsoft Edge, all browsers will behave differently.

   Select See more

    

   Hover the mouse pointer over the file and select the … button

    

   Select Keep

   

   Select Show more

   

   Select Keep anyway

   

5. Once the download is finished, click the Folder Icon this will open the location of where the file is saved.

   

6. Find the file downloaded (yours may be different than what is shown here) right click and select Run as administrator.

   

7. A security window may pop up with the information below. Click on More Info.

   

8. A secondary window will pop up select Run Anyway.

   

9. Lastly a user account control window will pop up, select YES.

   

10. OneTint will now extract the files, wait a couple minutes until it is finished. Once finished a Menu will pop up.

    

11. This guide is for doing a Full Installation, so select the FULL INSTALL option, the date indicates the date when the package was made.

    

12. Once FULL INSTALL is selected, a series of windows will pop up for example this is one of them, nothing is needed to be pressed on this window, its more for informational purposes.

    

13. This window checks for the framework needed and exits automatically if the requirements are met. If requirements are not met, it may be necessary to select Update.

    

14. This window confirms that you do want to continue with installation, select Yes to continue.

    

15. A command prompt window will appear and scroll automatically, this shows that OneTint is actively working on installation, once finished it will close automatically.

16. Once the command prompt closes the menu will appear again, this time select Exit.

17. Click YES to confirm.

    

18. If successful, two OneTint icons are automatically placed on the desktop.

    

19. The installation is now finished.
